Popjugend is an initiative and label of Shop Around, bringing several exhibitions, projects and products, all showing us the diversity and quality of the crossover between day-to-day design & illustration vs. art.The first products will be shown starting from June 20, 2010, at Galery Majke Hüsstege in the town of Den Bosch (The Netherlands).

This first exhibition will feature a wild variety of (mixed media) artworks ranging from silk screens, prints, ceramics, patches, t-shirts, stickers to paper toys. Popjugend brings the vibrancy of the art-illustration scene through newly created original artworks by artists whose works have a strong connection with Pop culture. The participating artists, each have their own individual aesthetic, form of medium, and means of expression.

Shop Around
Established in 1998 as a rep agency – mainly representing illustrators and graphic designers – Shop Around developed over the years into a creative production agency that specializes in contemporary illustration, graphic design, animation, motion graphics and interactive design. Shop Around is based in the creative city of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and holds a representation in New York.
